How the LightBurn License Works With Rabbit


  • Every new Rabbit Laser machine includes a LightBurn license and your first year of software updates.
  • After the first year, your license still works—you just stop receiving new updates unless you renew through LightBurn.
  • LightBurn licenses are not sold separately by Rabbit Laser USA; any future renewals go directly through LightBurn.

FAQ

  • Is laser cutting software included when I buy a Rabbit machine?

    Yes. Every new Rabbit machine comes with LightBurn laser cutting and engraving software, plus your first year of updates. You don’t have to buy separate laser cutter software to get started.

  • Do you sell LightBurn or laser software by itself?

    No. We don’t sell laser software as a standalone product. LightBurn is included with new machines, and future update renewals are handled directly through LightBurn.

  • Can I use this software for both cutting and engraving?

    Yes. LightBurn works as both laser cutter software and laser engraver software. You can cut, engrave, and score in the same file by using different layers and settings.

  • Can you help me learn the software?

    Absolutely. We can help with basic setup, connecting to your Rabbit machine, and best practices for running jobs in your laser cutting software.

Legacy Software & Drivers

Some older Rabbit Laser USA machines used Leetro controllers with LaserCut 5.3 software. If you’re running one of these legacy systems, please contact our office directly for assistance.

Machines:

You may not reconstruct, reverse engineer, decompile, or reproduce any design or component of the machine.

Drivers:

You may not reconstruct, deconstruct, reverse engineer, decompile, or reproduce any design or component of the driver packages or security devices. Each driver package has its own set of End User License Agreements. The preinstallation of such software packages does not remove the end user from the obligation to uphold the terms of those agreements. This includes drivers, CAD applications, schematics, test projects, laser signs, firmware, and more.

Software:
