LightBurn is the industry-leading laser cutting software and laser engraver software used on Rabbit Laser machines. Every new Rabbit Laser USA machine comes with a LightBurn license and 1-year subscription—no extra software purchase needed.


With LightBurn, you get:

  • One workflow for cutting and engraving – Use layers to set different speeds and powers for cutting, engraving, and scoring in the same job, so your laser cutter software and laser engraver software are all in one place.

How the LightBurn License Works


  • Included With Your Machine: Every new Rabbit Laser USA CO₂ and fiber laser machine includes LightBurn and one year of software updates.
  • Your License Doesn't Expire: After the first year, LightBurn continues working. You can renew your update coverage through LightBurn to receive newer software versions.
  • Available Separately: Rabbit Laser USA is a certified LightBurn retailer. LightBurn Pro is available for $199 and includes three seats.

  • Is laser cutting software included when I buy a Rabbit machine?

    Yes. Every new Rabbit machine comes with LightBurn laser cutting and engraving software, plus your first year of updates. You don’t have to buy separate laser cutter software to get started.

  • Do you sell LightBurn or laser software by itself?

    Yes! Rabbit Laser USA is a certified LightBurn retailer. We offer LightBurn Pro software with three seats for $199. LightBurn is also included with our new CO₂ and fiber laser machines.

  • Can I use this software for both cutting and engraving?

    Yes. LightBurn works as both laser cutter software and laser engraver software. You can cut, engrave, and score in the same file by using different layers and settings.

  • Can you help me learn the software?

    Absolutely. We can help with basic setup, connecting to your Rabbit machine, and best practices for running jobs in your laser cutting software.

Legacy Software & Drivers

Some older Rabbit Laser USA machines used Leetro controllers with LaserCut 5.3 software. If you’re running one of these legacy systems, please contact our office directly for assistance.

Software & Machine Licensing


Your Rabbit Laser equipment, drivers, and software may be covered by separate license agreements. These agreements explain how each product can be used, installed, or modified.


Please review the applicable terms provided with your equipment and software.

  • Machine Licensing

    Machine designs and components are subject to usage restrictions, including rules about caopying and reverse engineering.

  • Drivers & Firmware

    Driver packages, firmware, and supporting files can have separate license agreements. Reinstalling software does not cancel those obligations.

  • Software Agreements

    Individual software products have their own license terms, which may cover installation, copying, usage, and the number of permitted seats.
