Question:

How often do I need to clean my lens?

Quick Answer:

This depends on the material that you are cutting, typically we suggest once a week.

Complete Answer:

This depends on the material that you are cutting, typically we suggest once a week. There are many factors that will cause the lens to get dirty faster. Woods and acrylics will tend to make the lens dirty faster as there is more debris formed from these products. Glass doesn't make as much debris and therefore the lens shouldn't need to be cleaned as often, but it is still good habit to check the lens prior to your day of engraving. You can make a decision to clean the so that the machine is always operating the best it can.
